Bhagwati Baldwa’s Address at JECRC University: Success Needs Intentions, Not Resources

It’s About Strong Intentions, Not Resources: Bhagwati Baldwa Gives Youth a ‘New Mantra for Success’ at JECRC University

Jaipur, Rajasthan. With the objective of highlighting the contribution of women power in the reconstruction of modern India and igniting a new flame of self-employment and entrepreneurship among the youth, an inspirational program was organized at JECRC University. The University’s National Service Scheme (NSS) and JECRC 90.8 FM jointly organized a mega motivational talk on the theme ‘From Desert Sands to Global Stands – Women Leading the World of Business’. This program not only infused new energy into hundreds of students but also deeply inspired them to connect with their local roots and create an indelible global identity for themselves.

If the Intention is Firm, Resources Gather Themselves: Bhagwati Baldwa

The main attraction of the program was Bhagwati Baldwa, Chairperson of Ixoreal and Kartikeya Group of Industries, and a senior industrialist. She shared with the youth the fundamental mantras of success that were beyond bookish knowledge, the essence of her ground-level experience and life’s arduous struggles. She gave students the important formula of always thinking big, starting small, and making quick decisions without wasting time. Young people often complain about the lack of resources to start a business; on this, Baldwa firmly stated, “If you have self-belief, clear intentions, and a will as strong as iron, then a lack of resources can never be an obstacle in your path. Resources can be gathered, but passion must come from within you.”

Indomitable Courage and Infinite Possibilities Hidden in the Soil of Rajasthan

In her address, Bhagwati Baldwa became emotional remembering her roots. She said, “Rajasthan is not just a state for me; it is a vibrant culture, an unbroken courage, and an indelible identity that flows in my blood. Even today, I remember the soil that shaped me the most.” She cautioned students about the importance of their values, family, and society, explaining that her childhood and youth spent in Sri Dungargarh gave her the greatest lesson in life—no matter the circumstances, never forget your roots. She showed the youth a new picture of Rajasthan’s future. Baldwa said that today’s Rajasthan is not limited to history and forts but has become a vast economic hub of immense future possibilities. From minerals like zinc, silver, copper, potash hidden in the earth’s womb to the oil and gas reserves of Barmer-Jaisalmer, these are becoming the new economic backbone of the state. And the scorching sun, once considered the biggest challenge here, has today become the greatest strength, transforming the state into a solar state leading the country towards green energy.

Scientific Basis for Traditional Knowledge – Ixoreal’s Global Journey

Giving a splendid example of establishing traditional knowledge on a global platform, Baldwa shared the journey of her company, Ixoreal. She explained how Rajasthan’s arid yet fertile climate has endowed local herbs, especially Ashwagandha, with unique potency and quality. “We recognized the power of Rajasthan’s soil and Ashwagandha, which the world desperately needs today. Traditional knowledge was not enough, so we gave Indian products a solid scientific and research-based approach. Today, through Ixoreal, we are taking this invaluable Ayurvedic heritage to every corner of the world. Prime Minister Modi has also mentioned this in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program.” She explained to the youth that a true leader prioritizes teamwork, carries everyone along, and does not look for shortcuts to success. Continuous effort, patience, discipline, and honesty towards work are the path to the top.

AI and Digital Revolution: Not a Challenge, but a New Door to Opportunities

In the program, Mukesh Saini, Founder of Indilinks Newslab, shared his views on future challenges, the digital revolution, and the role of youth. Saini tried to eliminate the fear that students harbored regarding Artificial Intelligence and new technology. He said energetically, “Today’s youth are in a dilemma: will AI and technology snatch away their jobs? The truth is quite the opposite. Technology never reduces your opportunities; rather, it creates new, unlimited, and global opportunities for work.” He explained in detail that those who make technology their companion will be future leaders, and those who fear it will be left behind.

Respect for Human Sensibilities is True Progress

Senior officials of JECRC University also shared their views at the event. Dhimant Agarwal, Director (Digital Strategies) and S.L. Agarwal, Registrar of the University, highlighted the importance of the event. NSS Program Officer Dr. Sonu Parik (HOD-Chemistry) and JECRC 90.8 FM’s Station Manager Pandit Amandeep (Assistant Professor) interacted directly with the youth. All speakers together gave a special message to the youth to come out of the illusion of the virtual world of social media. They emphasized that respecting the tireless work and leadership of women in society is our primary responsibility. They stressed that no matter how high technological innovation reaches, it is incomplete and meaningless without human sensibilities, compassion, and values.
