Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s had announced job notification in the state on 9th of march for around 80,039 job vacancies. The CM sri KCR had declared in the legislative assembly- “The process of filling up these vacancies will begin immediately”.

This announcement was made when the protest happened by the opposition parties on the issue of unemployment. The CM also blamed state bifurcation issues and court orders as the only reason for the stall in issuing the notification.

He even remarked “The centre should arbitrate these issues but is not doing so. The claims made by the Andhra Pradesh government asking for a share in Nizam inherited properties are bizarre. These issues have made the whole situation quite complex”.

Vacancies in Home:

In this department the state announced 231 vacancies - The director general of police, Hyderabad  229 vacancies and two vacancies will be given direct requirement  for the Director-General Telangana and Special Protection Force Secunderabad.

In addition to the 154 vacancies which will be filled through the TSLPRB, under TSPSC the Director-General of Prisons and Correctional Services for Junior Assistants have 31 vacancies.

Vacancies in Transport Department:

The Transport department has 212 vacancies - state announced. The transport department will be filled through the way of direct recruitment by the TSPSC (Telangana State Public Service Commission. In this 149 for Telangana state level police recruitment board (TSLPRB), 63.

Vacancies in HM & FW Department:

Government announced that the HM & FW department has a direct requirement of around 12735 vacancies. The Nizam’s Institute of medical sciences(NIMS) has 45 vacancies for the assistant professors.
