A two-and-a-half-year-old child who was victim of a stray dog has died in Golconda, Hyderabad. The incident is from Bada Bazar area of Golconda where last Tuesday, a group of stray dogs attacked a two and a half year old child playing near the house at night time.

According to the information, the dogs dragged the child to the military area and made him their victim. The name of the child is being told as Anas. Hearing Anas's cries, his parents and local people reached the spot and tried to save him but by then the stray dogs had badly injured Anas. It is being told that Anas's face, throat and other parts of the body were badly damaged due to the attack of dogs. Anas's family hurriedly took him to a private hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Municipal corporation accused of negligence

After the incident, there has been mourning in the area. The relatives and local residents of Anas allege that they had complained to the municipal authorities regarding these stray dogs, but till date no step has been taken from their side. At the same time, on getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigation, in which a CCTV footage was captured. According to police sources, the attack of dogs on the child is clearly visible in this footage. At the same time, there is anger among the people of the area against the Municipal Corporation due to this incident. He says that if he had done something considering the responsibility, then two and a half years old Anas would have been alive today.
