Yadadri to satisfy limitless need for prasadam

Hyderabad: Devotees visiting the Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy sanctuary in Yadadri can get limitless laddu, pulihora and vada prasadam as the sanctuary has set up a computerised and automated prasadam creation unit on the slope.

As of now, the sanctuary produces around 40,000 laddus and around 1.5 to 2 tons of pulihora consistently. The interest goes up during the end of the week and celebrations.

The sanctuary executives, in relationship with Hare Krishna Movement, introduced the computerised unit at an expense of Rs 13 crore expecting weighty progression of aficionados after the Maha Kumbha Samprokshanam on March 28.

With only three days left for the Maha Kumbh Samprokshanam, the sanctuary, the board has started planning laddu prasadam in enormous amounts to satisfy the need from enthusiasts. The limit of the mechanised unit will be multiple times more than whatever the sanctuary creates physically. Contingent upon the interest, the creation limit can be expanded in future.

Since last November, preliminary attempts have been conducted effectively and the unit is prepared for tasks, Yadagirigutta Temple Development Authority (YTDA) Vice Chairman and CEO G Kishan Rao said.

After the Maha Kumbha Samprokshanam, specialists from the Hare Krishna Movement will screen the prasadam creation for a couple of months. During the preliminary attempt of the unit, the sanctuary staff individuals went through preparing in working the unit and setting up the prasadams, he said.

The thought was to build the prasadam creation limit and guarantee top quality without settling on cleanliness in the creation interaction. The beneficial thing about the laddu prasadam was the long time span of usability, he said, adding that around 200 grams of pulihora will be stuffed in hermetically sealed bundles.'
