Indian Railways has decided to run a new train between Varanasi in UP and New Delhi. This train has been named as Divya Kashi Yatra Train, Prime Minister Narendra Modi told on Friday at the inauguration of the new circuit house in Somnath, Gujarat that a special train for Divya Kashi Yatra is going to start from Delhi.

In view of the increasing demand of tourists in Varanasi, 'Divya Kashi Yatra' train is being run. This information was given by the officials of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). IRCTC will provide travel packages of four nights and five days for the passengers. In view of the increasing demand of tourists in Varanasi, 'Divya Kashi Yatra' train is going to run. It will operate from Delhi to Kashi from March 22. There will be a total of 156 seats in the first and second air-conditioned class.

Will start from 22nd March
IRCTC Public Relations Officer Anand Jha said that the Prime Minister had made an announcement on Friday regarding the running of this train. He said that in view of the increasing demand of tourists in Varanasi, 'Divya Kashi Yatra' train is being run, whose commercial operation will be from Delhi to Kashi from March 22.

156 seater train package
He said that there will be a total of 156 seats in the first and second air-conditioned class in the train. He said that IRCTC will provide four night and five day travel packages for the passengers, which include food, accommodation and travel to various major destinations of Varanasi. Public relations officer Anand Jha told that there are 96 seats in the first class and 60 seats in the second class. Rs 29,950 per person for first class seats and Rs 24,500 per person for second class will be charged. IRCTC will provide travel packages of four nights and five days for the passengers, which include food, accommodation and travel to various major destinations of Varanasi.
