At the same time, the inflow of water in the dam remained constant at 38978 cusecs.

In view of security, police officers and jawans have been deployed in the area so that no untoward happens. The rain that started from midnight in the area, it happened intermittently throughout the night. So the inflow of water into the Gangrel dam intensified. With the arrival of one lakh 43353 cusecs of water in the afternoon, more than 30 TMC of water in Gangrel dam was waterlogged. The dam was filled 93 per cent and the level of the dam was filled 348.19 meters near the danger mark, which was very close to the danger mark. In view of the filling of the dam and heavy inflow, the Water Resources Department gave its information at the district administration, police administration and government level. The district administration issued an alert to leave the Gangrel dam by giving this information in the villages on the banks of Mahanadi. He alerted the people by making Munadi in the villages.
