A plane of the airline company Indigo suddenly skidded off the runway, after which the pilot somehow stopped it and the passengers were landed. The flight was about to take off from Jorhat in Assam to Kolkata, but the incident happened before takeoff. No passengers were hurt in the incident and all were taken off safely. Statement issued by Indigo
A statement has also been issued by Indigo regarding this incident. In which it has been said that Indigo flight 6E-757 was going from Jorhat to Kolkata, but it had to return back to the airport. When the plane started moving slowly, the pilot was told that the wheel of the plane was going into the grass, after which the pilot stopped the plane as per the rules and asked for necessary checks. The plane was again brought to Jorhat airport and its investigation started. Taking precautions, the flight was canceled. On behalf of the company, it was told that in the initial investigation, there was no disturbance in the aircraft.

Emergency landing due to technical fault
Let us tell you that before this many reports of technical failure in Indigo planes have come to the fore. In the same month, a technical fault was observed in the flight from Sharjah to Hyderabad. After which the pilot landed the plane in Karachi, Pakistan. After this emergency landing, the passengers were landed in Karachi, although another flight was sent from the company's side and the passengers were taken to Hyderabad. Apart from this, smoke started coming out of an Indigo plane suddenly, this incident happened when the aircraft was flying at an altitude of several thousand feet. DGCA is probing all these cases.
