Now in this case, the Karnataka Police has arrested four people associated with Shri Ram Sena. The arrested people have been identified as Chidananda Kalal, Kumar Kattimani, Mylarappa Gudappanavar and Mahalinga Egli.

Dharwad Rural Police has registered an FIR against 8 people for intentionally hurting religious sentiments, unlawful assembly, rioting and trying to disturb the peace.
