Karnataka Police arrested 4 people of Shri Ram Sena

In a temple in Dharwad district of Karnataka, Muslim fruit vendors were vandalized by the workers of Shri Ram Sena and their fruits were thrown on the road. Now in this case, the Karnataka Police has arrested four people associated with Shri Ram Sena. The arrested people have been identified as Chidananda Kalal, Kumar Kattimani, Mylarappa Gudappanavar and Mahalinga Egli.

Dharwad Rural Police has registered an FIR against 8 people for intentionally hurting religious sentiments, unlawful assembly, rioting and trying to disturb the peace. According to the information, Nabisab's shop is in the courtyard of Nugekeri Hanuman temple for 15 years. In fact, on April 9, the workers who came to the temple premises destroyed the fruits and advised them not to continue their business.

Strong demand to evacuate from religious places

State Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister JC Madhu Swamy said on the floor of the House that non-Hindus cannot do their business in temple premises and religious fairs. Since then, Hindutva groups have been vigorously demanding the eviction of Muslim vendors from all religious places. Everyone condemned the vandalism of the fruit shop and former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy also gave financial assistance to the seller.
