The Economic Offenses Wing of Delhi Police has arrested the accused of cheating of more than 100 crores. The name of the accused is Pradeep Paliwal who is a resident of Vasant Vihar in Delhi. His age is said to be 70 years. The accused is the owner of a mall located in Sultanpur village of Delhi.

Delhi Police claims that cases are also registered against Pradeep Paliwal in CBI. The court had declared Pradeep Paliwal as a proclaimed offender. To evade arrest, the accused was using a SIM card of Zimbabwe and was roaming in different states of the country in his Pajero car. Along with this, the police have also arrested Vinayak Bhatt, who is the director of its company. CBI was also looking for Vinayak Bhatt.

EOW's Joint CP Chhaya Sharma told that a complaint was made on behalf of Shakuntala Devi, a woman in EOW. In which it was said that Rs 20 crore has been cheated with him in the name of getting a granite mine in Rajasthan. The allegation was made against a person named Pradeep Paliwal.
