The Indian stock market is moving towards a steady rise leaving all speculations behind. On Friday, the Sensex jumped more than 500 points and crossed the 57 thousand mark again after almost two months. Nifty has also gone above 17 thousand today. The Sensex opened with a gain of 400 points at 57,258 in the morning and started trading, while the Nifty rose 150 points to open at 17,080 and started trading. Investors maintained a buying trend from the beginning today and due to continuous investment, the Sensex rose 557 points to 57,411 at 9.30 am, while the Nifty gained 173 points to trade at 17,104. Investors bet on companies like Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv, Power Grid, Titan, M&M, L&T, Wipro, Nestle, SBI Life Insurance, HDFC Life and Eicher Motors from the beginning today. These stocks rose up to 2 per cent due to continuous buying and joined the list of top gainers. Looking at today's trade sector wise, Nifty Auto, IT and Metal sectors are leading the market. These stocks are showing a gain of more than 1%. There is also a sharp jump in the realty index today, while the pharma stocks are under pressure and this index is trading at a decline of 0.9 percent. The shares of Westlife Development are seeing a rise of more than 6 percent this morning. Most of the stock markets of Asia opened on the rise this morning and are trading on the green mark. The Singapore Stock Exchange is trading at a gain of 0.96 per cent today, while Japan's Nikkei is up 0.27 per cent. Apart from this, South Korea's Cospi is also trading at a jump of 0.73 percent. However, today the Shanghai Composite is seeing a loss of 0.04 percent.
