A person suspected of being infected with monkeypox has been admitted to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital here. According to sources, the age of the person is between 30 to 40 years. Sources said rashes and wounds were found on the patient's body. His samples have been sent to the National Institute of Virology, Pune.

Earlier also a monkeypox infected patient was admitted to LNJP Hospital. The infected patient has been kept in the isolation ward of LNJP Hospital where his treatment is still going on.
