Ancient remains of 2300 years old have been found in the excavation of Pandav Mound of Hastinapur town. The officials of the Archaeological Department believe that these remains belong to the Maurya period.

Ancient remains of 2300 years old have been found on Saturday in the excavation conducted by the team of Archaeological Survey of India on the Pandav mound of Hastinapur town. On the basis of the remains found during the excavation, the officials of the Archaeological Department believe that these remains belong to the Maurya period. In which hundreds of ancient relics have been found like ancient brick walls, glass beads, copper coins etc. which have been preserved for carbon dating.
