Symptoms of monkeypox have been found in two children in Yamunanagar. Both have been admitted to the isolation ward of Yamunanagar Civil Hospital. These two children are siblings. In which the age of the boy is two and a half years, the age of the girl is one and a half years. He had fever for the last 12 days. And rashes started appearing in the body. During this time the family members saw about the symptoms of monkeypox on TV. After which he informed the Yamunanagar control room. After the information, Yamunanagar CMO Dr. Manjit Singh immediately alerted the departmental teams and brought both the children of the family and their parents to the civil hospital by ambulance and admitted them to the isolation ward. During this, CMO Dr. Manjit Singh personally sent the health worker to AIIMS after taking samples after interacting with senior officials of the state health department and then AIIMS officials. CMO Dr. Manjit Singh told that the condition of the children is stable. According to his protocol, treatment has been started as per the rules. He told that he also requested the AIIMS officials to send its report at the earliest, so that further action can be taken accordingly.

The civil surgeon said that in case of monkeypox, there is a rash on the body along with fever. He told that in this case the entire family has been investigated and samples of both the children have been sent.
